Cruise news today. Carnival detailed plans on Thursday to expand its presence in Galveston by introducing its fourth ship to the Gulf Coast. Passengers sailing on Norwegian Cruise Line ships out of Spain are learning how important it is to read the fine print on things like the company's famous “Free At Sea” promotion. But that promotion, which includes drinks and certain meals in specialty restaurants, comes at a per day, per person cost when sailing out of Spain. This is detailed clearly in the promotional materials, saying the tax will be charged “for certain sailings departing from Spain or any European itinerary while in Spanish waters.” The Spirit-class ship will debut in Galveston in the fall of 2025. Cruise line stock prices for CCL, RCL, and NCLH.
