The new destination will provide an atmosphere for adults seeking relaxation away from family activities. Features include over an acre of white sand beach, in-water hammocks, a live DJ by the pool, and two levels of cabanas—some with their own plunge pools. Dining options range from tropical pizzas to burgers, and multiple bars will serve craft cocktails. The area will be accessible on sailings from various U.S. ports, with the costs varying by the season at $39-89 per person. The cruise ship Ocean Explorer, carrying 206 passengers and crew, was successfully freed after running aground off Greenland's eastern coastline earlier this week. Despite initial failed attempts to refloat the ship and concerns about waiting for a larger Danish naval vessel for assistance, the ship was eventually dislodged by a Greenlandic fishing research vessel. The Cruise Lines International Association has unveiled its 2023 Global Cruise Industry Environmental Technologies and Practices Report.
