Cruise news today. Royal Caribbean has confirmed that Radiance of the Seas will return to service on September 15, resuming its regular Alaska itinerary after canceling two cruises due to propulsion issues. The company's Marine technical team has completed repairs and sea trial preparations, assuring that the ship's technical problems were limited to its propulsion system and did not affect its seaworthiness. Carnival Legend will sail from San Francisco in 2025. The ship's first cruise from San Francisco will be a four-day Baja Mexico trip on May 8, 2025. Legend will replace Carnival Miracle in Alaska. A double ceremony was held for MSC Cruises luxury brand Explora Journeys, marking milestones in the construction of both Explora II and Explora III. Scheduled to enter service in summer 2024, Explora II's construction began in October 2021, with its keel laid in May 2022 at Fincantieri's yard near Naples. Work on the LNG-powered Explora IV is slated to begin in January 2024, with completion expected in early 2027. Cruise line stock prices for CCL, RCL, and NCLH.
